Junior Web Developer (WordPress)

Salary Range: Up to 15,000,000VND based on relevant experience

We’re looking for a junior web developer to join our young and dynamic team. For this role, you’ll need to have an understanding and experience of WordPress, hosting and website builds. A willingness to learn new development processes, best web practices and security policies.


  • Developing and maintaining web applications with WordPress
  • Implementation of WordPress plugins and themes
  • Hosting & server administration and monitoring
  • Site integration and security updates
  • Performance auditing
  • Working closely with marketing and project managers
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure best web practices
  • Building and testing staging sites
  • Perform other web related tasks as required for the project requirements

Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years experience building and maintaining WordPress websites
  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery)
  • Understanding of website optimisation and SEO standards
  • Experience with page builders like Elementor
  • Great attention to detail and creative problem solver
  • Experience building staging sites for testing purposes
  • Good English writing and communication skills
  • Understanding of complex data structures and MySQL
  • Experience working in remotely distributed teams is a bonus

Job Skills

  • WordPress website build and maintenance
  • Ability to use hosting panels
  • Written English required

Nice to have

  • Bachelors in IT/Computer Science but not required
  • Experience with docker
  • Experience with Digital Ocean/GCP/AWS
  • Git experience
  • Built your own WordPress powered website
